Diet Coke has rolled out a number of new flavors in the past few years, but the original Coca-Cola hasn’t been one to venture outside of the can recently—until now.
The soda company announced the first new Coke flavor in more than a decade: Orange Vanilla Coke and Orange Vanilla Coke Zero Sugar. (The Creamsicle-like flavor joins a line up that also includes the longtime favorites Cherry and Vanilla.)
Starting on Feb. 25, Orange Vanilla will be available nationwide in 12-oz. cans and 20-oz. bottles. The flavor is here to stay, but if you’d rather enjoy it out of Coke’s 12-oz. sleek cans, you’ll need to grab one between March and May as they’re only available for a limited time in that style.
The Orange Vanilla Coke has 140 calories per serving, while the Coke Zero version has 0 calories, of course.
Earlier this year, Diet Coke added Strawberry Guava and Blueberry Acai flavors after also dropping Twisted Mango, Ginger Lime, Feisty Cherry and Blood Orange in 2018. PEOPLE got a first taste of this year’s new cans and while we preferred the Diet Coke-flavored Blueberry Acai over the Strawberry Guava, neither really sparked joy in us à la Marie Kondo.
Coke Zero got a makeover in 2017 when the company altered the recipe and relaunched it as Coke Zero Sugar. Fans of the original recipe were understandably skeptical of the change at first, though the dust seems to have settled since then.
