Not gonna lie: I've been obsessed with George Clooney since he first graced our screens as Dr. Doug Ross on ER back in the mid-90s. I mean, who wasn't? He may have been a player who readily admitted that he was too selfish to get married again, and didn't ever see himself having kids—but somehow that only made him all the more attractive.
Funny how quickly things can change, isn't it?
Not only is Clooney now happily married, but the Oscar winner and his activist wife Amal are currently raising 3-month-old twins Alexander and Ella.
"It's something I never thought I would be doing," the new dad recently joked at the Toronto Film Festival where he was busy promoting his new movie Suburbicon. "All my friends are laughing at me and they think it's funny—I get it. Fair enough, I gave them a hard enough time."
Looks like a little karmic retribution at its finest! But despite his prior misgivings about procreating, the proud papa says he's now a hands-on dad who gets up to hang with his wife during those pesky middle-of-the-night feedings—and is actually having a pretty good time doing it.
"I do every three hours [and] if I don't get up, I feel guilty, you know?" the Oscar winner recently revealed to Entertainment Tonight. "My wife is up nursing every three hours so it's a lot of work, but it's fun!"
If by "fun," he means "torture," then I totally get it. And while Clooney may have been flying solo during his time in Canada, the new dad made sure to stay in close contact with the fam back home.
